The game commences with the first player takes the top card from their closed pile and flips it over. If four players are playing, everyone gets 13 cards. With three players, 17 cards each, with one Ace placed in the center of the table. If two players are playing, they get 26 cards each. Tač is played with a standard 52-card deck of playing cards, and can be played with two to four players.
